 Hello everyone, the production team of SBS drama 'The Heirs' is deciding whether or not to make Director's Cut DVD and sell them to foreign fans (the production team has confirmed with us that the DVD will include English subtitles.) The Director's Cut DVD will be similar to the 'You're Beautiful' D-cut DVD released in 2009, which included exclusive BTS, cast interview and special souvenirs.

[INTERVIEW] Park Shin Hye talks about scenes from SBS ‘The Heirs’

This is Park Shin-hye who is playing Cha Eun-sang being loved by many female viewers these days. She is loved by both Kim Tan and Choi Yeong-do in SBS-TV 'The Heirs'. We are having fun shooting every episode as the viewership ratings goes up episode after episode. 

'The Heirs' is nearing an end already. Many things happened to Eun-sang. She met Tan like a destiny in the U.S. and entered Jeguk High School, a school for rich students, as an heiress of poverty. She was involved in a triangular romantic relationship.

There are many good scenes worth reviewing. That is why I prepared the following. I took pictures whenever I had a free time. The following pictures will remind you of the scenes aired in the past. 

▶ Episode 1 Eun-sang’s house

Best line: "She is bad. She leaves us live a comfortable life without us." (Eun-sang)

Scene: My sister, my role model, says that she is getting married in the U.S. She just left us to live a good life alone in the U.S. I decides to get out of this pathetic life and make an American dream come true. In the scene, I decide to go to the U.S.

Behind-the-scenes story: I think that the scene showed that Eun-sang is a different Candy from others. She is poor, but strong. My facial expression is strong as well. In fact, I gave strength to my eyes and fingers. I paid extra-special attention to everything since it was a premiere. 

▶ Episode 4 Convenience store

Best line: "Hey, kids. What are you doing in a public place? Hush! She is sleeping here" (Young-do)

Scene: I met Young-do for the second time. First, I bumped into him when I delivered a chicken and now I met him in front of a convenience store. Eun-sang is asleep and Young-do is looking at her. Do you remember the scene where Young-do said, “Hush,” to kids who passed by the store? 

Behind-the-scenes story: Do you think that I was just lying there quietly? No way. I was acting to look like I was sleeping for real. I thought about where to look or whether I need to close my mouth or not when I closed my eyes.

▶ Episode 4 Kitchen

Best line: "I will live quietly enough not to interrupt you" (Eun-sang)

Scene: I came back from the U.S. and realized the reality. The money that my mom gave to my sister was a rent deposit and now we had nowhere to go. We ended up living in a house where my mom was working as a maid. I promised to the homeowner to live quietly.

Behind-the-scenes story: The atmosphere is totally different from that in the drama, right? It was depressing and sad in the drama, but it is very comfortable at our shooting site. I was checking the script during a free time. I stuck my tongue out toward a camera.

▶ Episode 5 Café

 Best line: "Do you know? Look at the second floor. Turn back, or seomthing." (Tan)

Scene: Kim Tan is such an enthusiastic man. He came to the café where I did a part time job without notice. In the scene, he is nagging me to tell him my phone number. Where is Kim Tan? The hair slightly seen over the glass window is his hair.

Behind-the-scenes story: As I know, the scenes were circulated around online communities. I paid more attention to the scene where emotion acting was important. I had to hold back tears while talking fast with the counterpart

▶ Episode 8 School Cafeteria

Best line: “Because I want to eat with you" (Young-do)

Scene: I came to sit on the famous seat for the socially marginalized. The scene announced a tough school life of Eu-sang. She was afraid if she might be the next target of Young-do or teased by other students.

Behind-the-scenes story: I was waiting for a while in the seat. I tend to think about the feelings of Eun-sang even when the camera is off. That is how I can concentrate on my character when the camera is on. Can you see my watery eyes now?

▶ Episode 8 Eun-sang's Room 

Best line: "it's just like we are living together" (Tan)

Scene: I found that the large house is Tan’s home. I checked a social networking account in a bittersweet feeling and saw a picture. Tan sent a message, “Just like we live together. Good night.” I am sure that many of the viewers were moved by Tan’s war heart.

Behind-the-scenes story: Scenes related to Kim Tan are becoming emotional. I had to convey the complicated feelings of Eun-sang. I concentrated on emotions when I was waiting for the next scene. Can you see the staff members preparing to shoot? 

▶ Episode 8 School

Best line: "I came back to Korea not for you, but you are one of the reasons why I came back” (Tan)

Scene: I grew closer to Tan. The memo that I left in the U.S. was posted on a board in school. Tan must have found it and posted it. Talking about the memo to Tan, I had complicated feelings.

Behind-the-scenes story: I think that the scene shows changes in emotion of Eun-sang. It was an opportunity for Eun-sang and Tan to take one step closer to each other. God must have known that it was a crucial scene. The sunshine replaced a reflecting plate. 

▶ Episode 10 Survival Game

Best line: "I will let you live if you tell me why you came out from Tan’s house early in the morning" (Young-do)

Scene: We were playing a survival game. Young-do came to me when I was sitting on a rock. Young-do asked me why I came out of Tan’s house. Classmates think that I am a daughter of an upstart. I could not tell the truth. I just shot Young-do.

Behind-the-scenes story: These are bonus pictures. Tada! I felt like I went camping that day. I felt refreshed in the mountain. After the shooting, I tried riding a four-wheel motorbike. It was exciting to ride on a mountain trail. My face will tell you, right?

[NEWS] Heirs' Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho reunited in front of a school gate

Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho reunited in front of the school gate of a girls' middle school in Mapu, Seoul.

On October 22nd, SBS drama The Inheritors released new official stills of characters Kim Tan (starring Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun-Sang (starring Park Shin Hye) in a staring contest in front of Eun-Sang's school. The duo, who has not seen each other since Eun-Sang left LA for Seoul, are finally reunited, under much anticipation from fans and dramaviewers alike.

The story development is as follows: After Kim Tan discovers that Eun-Sang is the daughter of his domestic helper and that she lives in his house, he is determined to give her a surprise - by waiting for her at the front gate of her school.

As seen in the drama stills, Kim Tan leans casually onto his fancy car while waiting for Eun-Sang, which attracts the admiration of more than 50 school girls who are attracted to his good looks and curious about his identity and purpose of visit. When Eun Sang spots him, she is first shell-shocked. However, she does not show any trace of happiness but instead ignores him and walks away....

Though it is obvious that Eun-Sang's reaction is not what Tan has expected, the reunification of the two characters signals that a teen love story is in the blooming. The storyline will continue to unfold in Episode 5 of The Inheritors, which is set to broadcast on October 24 2013 (Wednesday) at 22:00 KST. Stay tuned!

[NEWS] Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho in couple tees : they both love California

Costars Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye are generating buzz among drama viewers with their cute couple tees! 

Featured in the news today are new stills from SBS drama Heirs, which were taken on the 10th of September during the drama's California filming.  

In the cuts released, the two stars don matching t-shirts like a couple and share intense eye contact as Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) leans over Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye). The two have only just met so far in the story, but it seems Kim Tan is already falling for Chan Eun Sang.

A rep commented, "Please look forward to Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye's love line which will make your heart pitapat just from watching them."

[FANACCOUNT] PSHIFC Visits Park Shin Hye on the set of "The Inheritors"

Today we've visited Park Shin Hye on the set of her new drama, "The Inheritors." It was quite an eventful day since we weren't quite sure we would be able to see her. We thank our lucky star that we were.

We drove an hour and fifteen or so minutes to where they were filming in a part of LA that was across town from us. Thank goodness we've skipped the freeway and took the smaller roads even though it takes longer because traffic was going at a snail's pace! We drove through all of Los Angeles to get to Shin Hye. We saw all of LA in a day, we've joked. Which was pretty true considering the route our GPS was giving us.

So we've made it to the set. They've blocked off a section of the street to film with police guarding the entrance to stay out fans and unwelcomed guests. We've waited and we saw Shin Hye! Turns out we were right in front of her trailer (she and Lee Min Ho share one for make-up and such).

I haven't seen her in a year and let me tell you, she is as beautiful as always if not better!! Although she has lost weight dramatically for the film, she was still so pretty. No matter how many times we've met her, we were stil starstuck by her. She's just too beautiful! And oh so nice. We can't stop saying this because it's so very true! She is so kind. The way she talks to her fans and spend time to talk to them, you won't be able to see that with many other idols. We completely ADORE this beautiful lady.

So we've talked to her about no nonsenses and whatever comes to mind. Love her so much. Then we gave her the presents we bought her thanks to the donation from our members and some we got out of our own pockets.

When Shin Hye saw the book she said by the time she gets done with it, she will be so good at English! We said yes you will. 

Shin Hye tried on our striped Keds, and she looked so cute with them on. Some of the crew members were there and everyone was saying how cute the Keds were on her. They were so cute!! She loved them. She was so happy to receive all the gifts from us. She gave a bag of chocolates for the crew. Everyone was very happy, so thank you to those who donated and helped made this possible!!!

After receiving the gifts, Shin Hye had to go do her makeup because it was time to film. She was flawless. We couldn't stop adoring her amazingly flawless skin!! And so we waited and asked her manager if we can watch her film. He said ok but only if the production team would let us. And so we stood from a distance and watched Shin Hye worked her magic on the screen.

Without giving too much of the scene away, it was one of Shin Hye's Eun Sang and Min Ho's Kim Tan in the red Maserati coming from somewhere. They seemed upset with each other with Kim Tan driving off and storming back later. Shin Hye was wearing some jeggings and grey high top chucks with a grey shirt under some purple plaid shirt. Her hair was long and black and so beautiful! Min Ho was wearing some orange pants, and a blue cardigan. He was quite handsome. And he smiled at us which was really nice of him.

We watched as they filmed this scene for the rest of the night. It was just so amazing to be there watching Shin Hye film. It's something that you don't ever forget. So it was late and they were filming so we can go back to our hotel. It was such a fun day and worth every second of everything we had to give up. Shin Hye is always worth every second of our time.

Oh when we were talking to her, we told her that all her fans were anticipating this drama and were so happy to have her in it. She was really pleased and said she can't wait to see this drama either!
