The end of 2010 does not only mark a new beginning, but also symbolizes a very important celebration - Park Shin Hye International Fanclub's 1st Anniversary.
A year ago, a group of fans came together and decided to build the 1st ever international community for Shin Hye, uniting fans from all around the world to share the love they have for her.
As 2010 is coming to a close and time is unfolding a new year to us, let's take a walk down memory lane and look at some memorable moments of PARK SHIN HYE INTERNATIONAL FANCLUB:
December 2009
Park Shin Hye International Community was established. Our aim was to bring fans from all over the world together and to share news and updates on Park Shin Hye.
January 2010
In response to the 'Remember Haiti' campaign that Shin Hye has joined, we launched our first
fundraising project for victims of the Haiti Earthquake. Many joined and we raised a total of USD$1, 100(= KRW$1,136,000). The entire sum of money was donated to UNICEF.
February 2010
We launched our Birthday Project for Shin Hye's 21st birthday. It was a great success. We also included the original receipt of the Haiti donation in the gift for Shin Hye, who later told us during our first meeting with her in Tokyo that, she appreciated what we have done for the less fortunate.
March 2010
Shin Hye posted a Thank You note on DC Gallery expressing her thanks to fans that sent her wishes and gifts on her birthday. Among all the presents in the photos she took are gifts from us!
She also wore our necklace to the Seoul Fashion Week event!
April 2010
News came in saying drama "You're Beautiful" was leading the Hallyu wave in Japan and that they had decided to hold a Fanmeeting on June 26, 2010 in Tokyo starring Hwang Tae Kyung (Jang Keun Suk) and Go Minam (Park Shin Hye) !! Tickets were sold out within 5 minutes but thankfully, we were able to get tickets! We were so psyched as it would be our 1st time supporting Shin Hye at her 1st fanmeeting!
May 2010
Preparations for the Tokyo Fanmeeting started. We invited members from all over the world to
send in postcards from their respective countries so as to show Shin Hye how much love and support she has from all around the globe! It was a great success as we received active response! Thank you so much!
In addition to that, we started using
Twitter and re-created our
Facebook page, hoping to connect fans through extensive social platforms
June 2010
Members of our admin team from USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan flew in to Tokyo to get ready for the "You're Beautiful presents: 1st Fanmeeting in Shibuya, Tokyo"

The show was amazing and what was more exciting was that we got to meet Shin Hye and her team backstage!! It was our very first time seeing her in person.
She was so down-to-earth, friendly and amazingly beautiful. She thanked our members sincerely and wished everyone happiness ^^

Following Jang Keun Suk's hint in his blogpost back in July that You're Beautiful would be having a 2nd Fanmeeting in Taiwan, official news from the production team was announced!! They were going to hold a
FM in Taipei on October 2 2010!
Once again, with grateful thanks, we managed to get tickets!!
September
Shin Hye's new movie "Cyrano Agency" was in theatres and in less than a week, it
topped the box office nationwide for more than 3 weeks! Congratulations, Shin Hye and castmates!
While Shin Hye was busy getting ready for the A.N.Show, Park Shin Hye International Fanclub got busy with the FM preparations, too! We
launched our second FM project, inviting members to send in small accessories that represent their countries.
We also
renamed our site from "Park Shin Hye International Community" to "Park Shin Hye International Fanclub".
October
The big day finally arrived! Our admins went to Taipei to
support Shin Hye at her 2nd FM. Our princess shone on stage, flaunt her brilliant dancing and singing skills and showed her ayego (cuteness). It was awesome.

After the show, we were again blessed with the opportunity to
meet her and her team! We gave her gifts and thanked her for the great show. Shin Hye was so happy that night that she
sent out a message to all international fans on her Twitter that night!

November
The beginning of November marked something exciting! Shin Hye did not forget about our support at the ANShow! She posted a photo on DC Gallery thanking the Korean fans for the food they sent her, and in the photo our lightsign which was given to her during the ANShow is clearly visible.
Shin Hye started filming her new drama series, "Sensation World" (also known as Hayate the Combat Butler) in Taiwan. However, she sounds unhappy, tired and sick in her Twitter posts. So we decided to create an event to keep her warm in the miserable cold.
But then, news came in in late November that the cast and crew would be
going to Nagasaki, Japan to film for around 2 weeks.

So PSHIFC made a crazy decision - visit her in Japan and
give her Christmas presents! We wanted her to be happy and have a happy Christmas despite being so far away from her home, family and friends!
We called upon our members for support again to
send in Christmas cards and Christmas tree accessories. And again, we received a tremendous amount of support!! ^^
December
Our admins flew in to Nagasaki, Japan to
visit Shin Hye. Their filming location is a Dutch-styled theme park called Huis Ten Bosch. It is a strikingly gorgeous place!
We watched Shin Hye film and gave her Christmas presents, food and warm clothing items. She was very happy to see us and looked at each and every present in detail. Throughout the process, she said thank you for so many times. You're welcome, Shin Hye! We love you! Merry Christmas!

On Christmas eve, Shin Hye and her team had a mini Christmas party at their house in Taiwan. That night, Shin Hye and her Manager tweeted
photos of their party. And guess what?
PSHIFC's presents are featured in those photos!!!! It was a wonderful Christmas gift to all of us. Thank you Shin Hye and Manager!
2010 was filled with happiness, sadness, tears, smiles and laughter. But all in all, it was a fantastic year and we can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for us.
Quoting our favourite star, we will "strive harder" to bring you updates and to continue building the international fanbase of Shin Hye. Please forgive all our wrongdoings and mistakes in the previous year and we hope to improve and make PSHIFC an ideal place for all Shin Hye fans.
