[NEWS] "넌 내게 반했어 You're Into Me" cancels filming in Japan + Important Info

MBC drama <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me> starring Park Shin Hye and CNBlue's Jung Yonghwa has confirmed to cancel filming in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
The drama was set to film in Lake Hamana region for 3 weeks in May 2011, accompanied by a production press conference. However, the Japanese producers regrettably announced that the filming will not proceed as planned.

The reason being that Japan is still trying to recover from the 3.11 tsunami-quake both socially and economically, and the nuclear crisis is adding burden to the locals' shoulders. Thus, the investment for the joint drama production between Korea and Japan cannot push through despite of a on-location investors hunt last month.

Nevertheless, they wish that <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me> will kick off with great success and gain lots of support.

We at PSHIFC hope that Japan will be able to recover from all the sad happenings going on very soon. Never give up, Japan! You have our love!

Also, please note a change of plans in our two fan projects for <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me>, #1 Prayer Flag Project & #2 Summer Spree Project .

The 2 fan projects will be carried out as usual despite the cancellation of Japan filming. Instead of Japan, our staff will visit the <넌 내게 반했어You're Into Me> cast in SEOUL, Korea this summer to cheer them on! The deadlines will be extended to June 1 2011.

Fans who join our Summer Spree project will have a chance to win a copy-version of 'You're Beautiful Director's Cut' DVD! Don't hesitate and join us in giving them an unforgetatble summer now!

More details on the project here and here .

Japan Tohoku Earthquake Donation acknowledgments (aka we raised 2,000,000₩ for Japan!)

It is in man's nature to seek to understand the what, when, where, how, why of things. We don’t just accept things as they are. We want to make sense of the ‘why’ of things.

Being Shin Hye’s loyal fans, when we see a picture of her bruised fingers we automatically associate such as her dedication to her craft, acting- wanting to portray her role of gayageum student well she’s learning to play the instrument and is practicing even on a Saturday, so we understand. Pain such as those, have a reason even a need. But, when something horrendous, like the earthquake, tsunami and dangerous nuclear situation in Japan, happens how does one make sense of things? If your whole family has been wiped out, maybe even one’s survival becomes a puzzle?

It’s not enough to say “earth plates moved, blah blah, blah…”
Nothing can explain losses like these. Nothing can also explain why and how we started this donation project for Japan, why Anjellhaven who has programs of their own helped spread the word and soon other fans club of Shin Hye’s were helping, why Shin Hye’s manager suggested we combine resources with Shin Hye and donate through "Korea’s Food for the Hungry, International (KFHI)", why when we were thinking we could not even equal our Project Haiti donation of US$1100 (Shin Hye mentioned it in a recent interview with Elle) we were able to raise US$1839.14 for Japan, why fans from 15 countries donated and why Park Shin Hye International Fanclub is still here after all the trials and troubles it’s been through.

Our hearts are full of sorrow seeing what has happened to our brothers and sisters in Japan and nothing we say or give can ease that pain, but seeing all the kind-hearted people who looked beyond their needs and comfort to help others in need has been a great source of hope that yeah in life ‘shit happens’ but I am not alone. I have a brother, a sister who stands by me, because no matter what color or race or sex or religious beliefs we may have, we are all one family.

"Thank you to all who have helped- in prayers, spreading the news of the project, offered sacrifices- money, time, and effort!
May everything you’ve offered come back to you a thousand fold!"

Upcoming: please join our fan project for Shin Hye and Yong Hwa's new drama! Details: http://www.shinhye.org/2011/04/project-youre-into-me-fan-project.html

[PROJECT] ""넌 내게 반했어" HEARTSTRINGS" Fan Project

ü ANJELL FM Project
ü ANSHOW Project
ü Huis Ten Bosch Project
ü Birthday Project
ü Japan Disaster Donation
ü “Heartstrings” Project

Wait..........
We haven’t done the last one yet!

Calling all STAR ANGELS and BOICE!!! PSHIFC is bringing you another project. And you guess right. This one is for Shin Hye and Yong Hwa's new drama, "Heartstrings". In the months to come, some of our admins will be going to the set again like we did for Shin Hye's drama “Sensation World” (Hayate the Combat Butler) when they came to Huis Ten Bosch last December.

Now this project is slightly different from the previous ones. This time Star Angels and Boice will be sending us a PRAYER FLAG or a PRAYER HEART. Yep, a prayer flag/heart with your message to Shin Hye and/or Yonghwa, giving them courage and support as they films their drama.

The direction is simple.
1. Find a piece of COLORFUL (no black or white plain) cloth/textile the size of 5in x 4in (or 12 cm x 10cm)
2. Leave about half an inch (1.5cm) at the top for the clip
3. Write/draw/stitch your message on the rest of the cloth
4. Colour or pattern of cloth: ANY
5. If you wish to address both Shin Hye & Yonghwa, please make SEPARATE prayer flags for Shin Hye and Yonghwa. It's ok if you'd like to make just one for Shin Hye, vice versa.

Be sure that your message is clear and dark so that she can read it. If you have a patterned cloth, write your message on a separate piece of paper and glue it on the cloth or write it really dark so it can be read. You may also stitch your message onto the cloth and decorate it beautifully however you wish.

Send your prayer flag to:
Mee Xiong
262-0032 JAPAN
Chiba-ken, Chiba-shi
Hanamigawa-ku, Makuhari-cho
5-445-1 #203
DEADLINE: 2011 July 1st

Here are some creative ideas:

MBC reveals new name for "Festival"!

The new name for "Festival" is *drumroll*... "넌 내게 반했어" (You Fell in Love with Me/You're Into Me) !!!

Earlier this month, MBC 'Give a New Name for Festival' campaign, which aims at engaging the audience in the making of the highly-anticipated summer drama. Netizens from worldwide were invited to pool in their ideas and creativity for a new drama title.

The campaign ended on April 10 and the winners + new title were announced. "You're Into Me", starring Park Shin Hye, Jung Yonghwa (CNBlue) and Kang Minhyuk (CNBlue) will begin filming towards the end of this month and will proceed to Japan for filming in May/June.

A representative of JS Pictures stated, “There were a lot of innovative and fun title ideas, but we felt that the title we chose best fit with the plot of the drama. As the plot revolves around the dreams and passions of young students attending an arts college, we believe this title is the best in sketching out the theme of the plot.”

It is also announced today that the drama will start airing on June 29 2011 instead of June 22.

Are you excited for
"넌 내게 반했어" (You Fell in Love with Me/You're Into Me) ?

[INFO] 'Hayate' postpones airing date

GTV, the network that will air Hayate the Combat Butler, just announced the postponement of the drama's airing, which was supposed to happen some time this April. The new, tentative airing schedule is set some time in June.

This Taiwanese drama that Shin Hye is starring in with George Hu has been much talked about since 2010. Shin Hye has spent a number of months filming for the drama, being in Taiwan way before the A.N.Show and even spending Christmas there, and staying for a few weeks in Huis Ten Bosch in Japan, where some of our PSHIFC admins visited her while on set.

We know... you're all excited to see her on your TV screens again, right? We are, too! Guess we all have to wait.

Meanwhile, check these photos taken while Shin Hye was filming for Hayate.
