Park Shin Hye & Etude House Taiwan Charity Auction

Our big hearted Star, Park Shin Hye teamed up with Etude House Taiwan for Charity!

This online Charity Auction is held online to raise funds for the Red Heart Association Taiwan. Supported by countless celebrities,  the Red Heart Association is a government-subsidized body that deals with a wide range of social problems that effect disadvantaged groups and individuals. It gives financial, legal and educational support to single parent families, the elderly, the handicapped and the families of prisoners.

Items of this Charity Auction includes Etude House products that has been personally signed by Shin Hye back in August.

Etude House Taiwan, Event Report

Although the event started at 5pm, Park Shin Hye's die-hard fans had lined up since early morning under scorching heat. One fan had waited 10 hours till Park Shin Hye's arrival, and more than 500 fans had packed at the event.

Park Shin Hye said "I didn't expect that many fans in Taiwan, but I'm very happy to meet everyone!"

Park Shin Hye not only treated her fans very nice, she also played games, gave hugs and gave praises to Taiwan girl's beauty. She also sang "Lovely Day" from "You're Beautiful" to screaming fans at Kaohsiung Xin Jue Jiang district. Shin Hye also commented that "Taiwan fans are so cute!".

Park Shin Hye's First Visit to Taiwan with 500 Fans

Korean Star, Park Shin Hye whom rose to stardom in the popular Korean Drama "You're Beautiful" visited Taiwan for the first time. She headed straight to Kaohsiung Xin Jue Jiang district to meet fans. The event attracted more than 500 fans, and the scene turned into a moshpit as fans try to get a glimpse of their idol.

Park Shin Hye sweetly told fans that "Compared to Korean Fans, Taiwan fans are more passionate and that Taiwan girls all have very beautiful eyes."

She also personally sang for the fans and they responded with loud cheers.

Park Shin Hye’s soaring popularity attributed to her role as a cross-dressed male idol, "Go Mi Nam", in the hit drama "You're Beautiful".

As the spokesman for cosmetic company "Etude House", her first visit to Taiwan was to endorse "Etude House" and she arrived by the High Speed Rail from Taipei.

Park Shin Hye leaves behind Jang Geun Suk to come to Taiwan to sell cosmetics

In the Korean drama, "You're Beautiful", starring Park Shin Hye and Jang Geun Suk, Shin Hye dresses up as a boy in order to sneak into the boy band "A.N.JELL", to become a vocalist. This cross-dressing cute-boy image of hers has led to her path to fame, snatching the spokesperson deal with Korean comestic brand "Etude House". Arriving on Father's day and visiting Taiwan for the first time, she's going to race off to Kaohsiung City in order to attend the promotional event and help promote the products.

In the Korean drama "Stairways to Heaven" seven years ago, she acted as the young Han Jung-suh/ Kim Ji-soo. Last year, after finally gaining much popularity and recognition from "You're Beautiful" , contracts for CFs and new dramas and films have been pouring in nonstop. "You're Beautiful" began airing last night, and will continue from Monday to Fridays nightly at 9pm on ETTV, dubbed in Mandarin, and the original version, in Korean, will air nightly at 12am. Last night, the ratings were at an amazing 1.14%, with viewership being approximately 250,000.
