[NEWS] You’re Beautiful’s A.N.JELL reunites

The much-beloved fictional band A.N.JELL from SBS‘s hit drama ‘You’re Beautiful‘ (minus Jang Geun Suk) reunited once again, much to the delight of fans!

On October 7th, Park Shin Hye tweeted a group photo of the A.N.JELL group mates saying, “Tae Kyung hyung-nim (Jang Geun Suk’s character in the drama)~ do you see this~? We are heading over to A.N.JELL’s 2nd year anniversary performance~!! It would be perfect if hyung-nim was here. It’s so unfortunate ㅠㅡㅠ“.

Fans couldn’t hide their joy upon seeing Park Shin Hye posing with F.T. Island‘s Lee Hongki and CNBLUE‘s Jung Yong Hwa, and left comments like, “I miss A.N.JELL!”, “I’m so sad Tae Kyung is missing“, “I love the relationship you guys have!”, and “Can we please have a season 2?”

Hongki later responded to the photo with the tweet, “I think I got too close to the camera my face looks big! ㅠㅠ”, to which Park Shin Hye replied, “Jeremy~ Your face doesn’t look big at all~ Is our first broadcast tonight at 10~??”, sparking the curiosity of fans.

October 7 2011 was the 2nd anniversary of drama You're Beautiful, marking the 2nd year since the 1st broadcast of the phenomenal drama series which created a Hallyu wave worldwide.

[NEWS] Park Shin Hye says 'I want to give love' to Ghana

Actress Park Shin Hye volunteered in Ghana for 8 nights 9 days.

 Appointed as Goodwill Ambassador of non-profit organization Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) in May 2011, Park Shin Hye takes part in the 16th World Food Day 2011 by spearheading the volunteer campaign "STOP HUNGER" with KFHI in Ghana.

Setting off to the faraway land on 24th, Shin Hye stayed in a poverty-ridden town where children suffer from cruel starvation and malaria. KFHI's mission was to alleviate the food shortage problem there by giving out food kits. The volunteers also gave our mosquito nets and warm clothing to the children as well as bringing sick ones to the hospital for treatment.

 A special friendship bloomed between Park Shin Hye and a little girl called Abanna (아반네). The 5 year old native lives with her grandmother in the village and has no parents. During her volunteer trip, Park Shin Hye served as a 'mother' for Abanna. She helped the kindergarten child take baths, served and ate meals with her and went to school with her. Although time was limited, a lot of precious memories developed. Abanna was very, very happy.

With serious lack of food, water and nutrition, Abanna looks significantly smaller than normal 5-year-old children. But the bright smile never left the child's face.
Reflecting on her experience, Park Shin Hye says "I was very happy to have the chance to be a mother of a child, but it also hurts my heart a lot. The result of our little attention and assistance towards these causes is witnessed through this child. For these people, they have nothing. Hope, warmth and love are what they need. I wish I could give them more."

 This was Park Shin Hye's 2nd time volunteering in a 3rd world country. After filming drama 'You're Beautiful' in 2009, the young actress set off to Nepal for a volunteer trip. This year, after filming drama 'Heartstrings', Park Shin Hye decided to participate in volunteering in Ghana. "I want to give love," she says. In daily life, Shin Hye also engages actively in volunteer work such as in 'Habitat of Humanity' services.

 Park Shin Hye's participation in the Ghana volunteer program will be broadcast in the form of a documentary on October 15th (Saturday) on MBC '2011 World Food Day Special - KFHI STOP HUNGER Campaign Sharing'.

[VIDEO] Park Shin Hye endorses Pepero 빼빼로 CF

Park Shin Hye takes over the world again with her 'ayego' (cuteness)! 

A few days before leaving for Ghana, Shin Hye woke up at 4am one morning to film a CF for Lotte Pepero biscuit sticks. 

Pepero Day is an observance in South Korea similar to Valentine's Day. It is named after the Korean snack Pepero and held on November 11, since the date "11/11" resembles four sticks of Pepero. The holiday is observed mostly by young people and couples, who exchange Pepero sticks, other candies, and romantic gifts.

Actress Park Shin Hye looking pretty in a sheer black dress over a purple thigh length dress, co-hosted the 2011 Hallyu Dream Concert with 2PM's Taecyeon from 2PM and SHinee's Minho.

The annual Dream Concert, was held at the Gyeongju Civic Stadium tonight from 6pm to 10pm. Although the weather was cold, the three MCs performed their duties professionally. 

19 idol groups and solo artists performed on stage including TVXQ, 2PM, SNSD,SHINee, miss A, GD&TOP, Se7en, SECRET, Kim Gun Mo, ZE:A, 4minute, B2ST, G.NA, T-ara, Davichi, SISTAR, IU, MBLAQ, and INFINITE. 


After the concert ended, Shin Hye posted a message on her Twitter:
"와우 춥네요. 가나에있다 한국오니까 날씨적응이 안되요. 그렇지만 오늘 너무너무 즐거웠습니다아아아!!!"
Trans: Wow it's cold. Not used to the weather in Korea yet after returning from Ghana. Nevertheless I had a great time today ahahah!!! 


The concert was recorded on tape and will be broadcast on M.Net at 6:pm on October 6 2011.
